Creating resin coasters can be a fun, relatively easy and useful DIY project. A wide variety of different styles can be created using different colours, embellishments, and shapes. I always coat with heat resistant resin to finish to ensure a longer lasting, mark free coaster.
Here are 3 resin coaster ideas that can be made at home.
1 – Jam jar coaster
The ultimate recycled resin coaster, instead of using a mould use a clean jam jar lid, fill with resin in any pattern, colour and style.
2 – Dried flowers and different colour layers
This coaster was created using left over resin from several projects. I initially felt it was a bit plain so added some dried flowers on top before finishing with a final layer of heat resistant resin.

3 – Beach themed coasters
Beach coasters are my favourite and I love experimenting with different scenes.
